Commentary on Pharma & Biotech Oncology / Hematology New Product Development

I am delighted to announce that I been approached to write regular articles for Oncology and Biotech News, a monthly publication for community oncologists and hematologists, which I'm very excited about.

My first article is currently in outline stage on treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumours, a rare form of sarcoma.  On Friday this week, I'll be heading out to Denver and covering the AACR meeting for them, so hopefully some snippets of the hot news might make the June edition.  You can follow my highlights on Twitter using the #AACR tag in http://search.twitter.com.  The meeting starts on Friday.  I'm particularly looking forward to the Spotlight on Breakthroughs in Cancer Research plenary session that will take place on Monday, April 20,
from 7:45 AM to 10:40 AM, featuring the latest findings in cutting edge cancer research,
treatment, and prevention.

The cool thing was that the editor, a lovely lady called Christin Mellon, emailed out of the blue last week after reading Pharma Strategy Blog.  I thought it was rather nice to know that it's not only my Mum who reads these occasional musings and rambles on cancer 😉
