Not long after Ted Kennedy’s news that he was entering surgery for glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer, we learn this week that Robert Novak, the CNN reporter at the centre of the Libby Scooter-Valerie Plame leak, has also been diagnosed with brain cancer.

A biopsy will confirm whether the tumour is benign or malignant.

Poor guy, I rarely agreed with his conservative opinions, but that’s not something one would wish on anybody and wish him well in his recovery.
